This Albert Schuster violin bow is a high quality brand product from this renowned workshop in the traditional Vogtland violin making town of Markneukirchen. It bears the original stamps of Albert Schuster on the stick and on the frog. The finely crafted head reveals the high quality of the strong, octagonal stick at first glance, fine quality wood which offers excellent playing characteristics: high tension, good strength and a comfortably located balance point that is well centered with a slight inclination towards the lower half of the violin bow stick. The balance point is measured at 26.8 cm out of 74.1 cm total length. The Parisian eye which has an unusual glass insert and the valuable silver mounts are appropriate features for this Albert Schuster violin bow, which was made around 1950. This recommendable violin bow is offered ready to play after a thorough workover.
