This old German cello is a well-preserved instrument that was likely built in the 1970s in the renowned Ernst Heinrich Roth workshop in Bubenreuth, Germany. It is a quality cello made in the Markneukirchen tradition that features a finely inlaid purfling at the tastefully accentuated edges; the table was crafted of medium grained spruce and the two-piece back of mildly flamed sycamore maple. The warm, large, mature and powerful sound of this recommendable cello is well-balanced and has good resonance and obviously was a pleasure for its former owners, well kept, without significant repairs. This good Bubenreuth cello is offered in perfect condition; our expert luthiers completely worked it over and made it ready to play. Like all cellos and bows from us this includes Corilon's trade-guarantee and an optional certificate of appraisal.
