One of the most successful brands produced by the Laberte-Humbert atelier in Mirecourt was the small-sized line of Stradivarius copy violins. The old French 3/4 violin that we offer here is a Stradivarius model from the 1920s that bears its model label. Its pleasing visual aesthetic is made even more striking by the intensely orange-brown varnish yet what really makes this instrument stand out from other 3/4 sized violins is its strong, matured voice of character. The two piece back of mildly flamed maple, accentuated by the varnish, and the elegantly worked purfling and fluting contribute to the overall loveliness of the instrument. We recommend this French 3/4 violin for its warm sound, which is strong and powerful, and offer it in technically in perfect condition, worked over by our luthiers and ready to play.
