This recommended instrument is a good quality 1/2 violin, completely handmade around 1990-2000 in Eastern Europe. The instrument has been well played and shows only minor signs of use, it has been worked over by the luthiers at Corilon and is offered in perfect playing condition. The wood on top is made of medium grained spruce, the two piece back is made of mildly flamed maple. The varnish is a luminous orange-brown spirit varnish. With its strong, warm and clear sound of good strength this 1/2 violin is suitable for beginners and advancing young players. Unfortunately, no sound sample can be offered at the price.
