This old 3/4-sized violin is a dark sounding instrument that was built approx. 1920 after the patterns of Antonio Stradivari. The instrument is in good condition, full of individual character. The well-crafted scroll is a typical example of the violin making tradition of Saxony. Slight asymmetries determine the unmistakable style of this truly unique handmade piece. Very high quality regular grained spruce was used for the top, the finely flamed maple of the two-piece back was chosen with taste and aesthetic sense - beautiful tonewoods of premium quality, that were processed by a talented craftsman, as the warm and bright sound with a sweet note demonstrates impressively. The ca. 100 year old violin is preserved in good condition with no cracks and only some traces of use; it was obviously handeled with care and is offered in immediate playing condition, completely worked over by our professional luthier, as all of our instruments.
