Rare antique 1/2 violin with a powerful, large and radiant sound that makes it suitable for young talents who play in violin competitions

This petite French 1/2 violin is a rare piece is suitable for competitions and soloists. This interesting 1/2 violin was made in the 19th century in Mirecourt around 1850. Beautiful woods were used to build this fine 1/2 violin: wide to medium grained spruce for the top, flamed maple for selected the one piece backand the ribs. The darkened varnish is of a bright and luminous dark red-brown color, with patina and signs of play that suit an instrument of this age. Nevertheless, this beautiful French 1/2 violin is preserved in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. We offer this rare antique 1/2 violin after meticulosu workover by our luthiers ready to play. The beautiful matured sound is warm, strong, large and with a warm mellow touch, balanced, with an easy response - a rare piece for the young talent suitable for competition.
