1/2 violin bow for young talents - Morizot frères

This rare French 1/2-sized violin bow of superior quality was made approx. 1940 in the famous violin and bow making town of Mirecourt, by the renowned Morizot brothers. The active round stick is made of fine pernambuco wood and fitted with an elegant nickel-silver mounted ebony frog and adorned with a delicate mother-of-pearl eye. With a total weight of approximately 40 g, the balance point is well centered. This fine 1/2 violin bow fits comfortably in the hand, fits most 1/2 violins and has extremely recommendable sound and playing characteristics: a typical Morizot's warm, bright and fluent sound and playing characteristics are worthy of its French origin. A certificate of appraisal included. Minor repairs to the frog and bar end are included in the price. As with all Corilon's string instruments and bows, delivery is free of charge, with a 30-day return period and Corilon's trade-in and exchange guarantee, which is particularly appreciated for children's instruments and bows.
