This petite 1/2 violin "Breton" in excellent condition was built around 1930 in one of the great Mirecourt workshops, presumably J.T.L. The high gloss varnish is of the dark orange color which is typical for Mirecourt instruments; the label "Breton" and bradnstamp on the button indicates that this lovely 1/2 violin is one of the famous instruments following broad Stradivari patterns, which are highly sought-after products from the capital of French violin making. With its high age the varnish developed a slight patina, accentuating the elegant appearance of this beautiful half-sized violin. Our violin makers have meticulously worked over this recommendable half-sized violin which is offered in perfect outstanding condition, ready to play. Its sound is full of character, warm, clear and strong. Please have a look at our popular trade-in program especially when it comes to the trade back for the next size.
