Old 3/4 violin from Saxony with a rich musical biography

This old 3/4 violin was built after the patterns of Antonio Stradivari. It is an especially beautiful 3/4 instrument from Germany and a very typical example for the Markneukirchen tradition of violin making: the broad violin model, the characteristically shaped archings and the design of the scroll clearly show its provenance. The well-chosen tonewoods are covered by beautiful varnish of light-brown color; the quality of the flamed maple of the two-piece back is especially worth to be mentioned. Generations of young musicians have left traces from playing and a lovely patina, that completes the attractive appearance of the 3/4 violin. Despite some minor flaws this old 3/4 violin is perfectly preserved and ready to play. We recommend this 3/4 violin for its convincing sound, that is warm, voluminous, open and precise, with a somewhat mellow undertone.
