Good Mittenwald 3/4 violin made in 1933
An old Mittenwald 3/4 violin from 1933, a well played instrument that has a strong, clear sound. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the two piece back of mildly flamed Mittenwald maple. The typical varnish is of an orange-brown color over a yellow-brown ground. The 3/4 violin has been played a lot and shows signs from playing. Two solid repairs to the top justify the reasonable price...

Two solid repairs to the top justify the reasonable price of this Mittenwald 3/4 violin - which we will take in trade when it is time to upgrade towards a 4/4 violin or master violin.
