High-quality master violin by Oswald Willmann with a mature, radiantly sweet sound - made in Bratislava in 1953

An exceptional violin by the renowned violin maker Oswald Willmann is for sale. The violin, made around seventy years ago in Bratislava, embodies precision craftsmanship and aesthetics and captivates with its powerful, bright, ringing sound. Oswald Willmann, born in Ostrava (Czech Republic) in 1911 and died in Bratislava in 1969, began his apprenticeship with the well-known Czech violin maker Antonin Galla and continued his workshop in Bratislava after the war. Oswald Willmann's work is known for its first-class choice of wood and beautifully colored varnishes. He was also chairman of the Slovakian Violin Makers' Association and made a significant contribution to the art of violin making. His violin no. 87 is a visual and tonal jewel and bears Oswald Willmann's dated original label. The sound of this beautiful master violin is very good in the hall, rather clear to the player's ear, radiantly bright and sweet, with a lot of singing resonance.Shipped free, with a 30-day return policy and Corilon's trade-in guarantee.
