The viol bow bears the original stamp of Lothar Seifert. It was made in the well-known workshop, an enterprise with a long tradition in the so-called "Musikwinkel" around the violin making town Markneukirchen in Saxony, that had to be relocated after World War II to Bubenreuth in Bavaria. The viola da gamba bow offered here is preserved in perfect condition, ready to play. The viol bow features a convincingly clear sound, that is warm and bright, and has its balance-point in the upper half at a total length of 73.3 cm.
