Franz Albert Nürnberger (1854-1931) is considered the best master of the 8 generations of the Nürnberger bow making family. This rare violin bow is a first-rate work of late work in terms of sound and playing technique - and a solid value investment thanks to its rank and excellent condition.

Franz Albert Nuernberger's personal bow model, in which he reinterpreted French string bow making against the backdrop of his own family tradition influenced by Knopf and Bausch, finds clear, confident expression in this bow. It was created during the best phase of Albert Nuernberger's work, when his pieces enjoyed international renown and were respected as equal to the best French string bows - praise for a contemporary of Eugène Sartory's that can hardly be overestimated. The high-quality, aesthetically restrained appointments with a mother-of-pearl eye on the frog and a three-piece silver adjuster correspond to a consistent focus on material quality and the sensitive finishing of the octagonal stick, which account for the outstanding musical qualities of this Albert Nuremberg violin bow. The balance point of the perfectly balanced bow tends slightly towards the tip, which is thus particularly easy to control. Its active playing characteristics, its high responsiveness and its powerful, radiantly bright sound with great volume meet the highest musical demands. The original stamp "Albert Nürnberger" above the frog confirms the origin of this violin bow, which we offer in immediate playing condition, checked and tested by the experts in our workshop.
