This light French violin bow by Charles Nicolas Bazin, built around 1880, is of particular beauty and elegance. A light, medium-strength and active violin bow with the original stamp C. BAZIN made of top-quality pernambuco wood, which produces a bright and sweet tone and was made in Mirecourt at the end of the 19th century around 1880. The stick is round and elastic, the reddish-brown wood has a wonderful structure and shine. The black ebony frog with small traces of time pleases with its clear shape and is equipped with a silver mount. The violin bow measures 74.4 cm, its sensed balance point is in the middle, slightly in the lower half. This excellent Charles Nicolas Bazin bow, which is ready to play, sits very comfortably in the hand and plays actively, producing a bright, warm, noble, resonant sound.
