This fine and very rare French 1/4 violin bow is an original piece made by the Morizot brothers in Mirecourt; it was made around 1950 / 1960 and is a convincing piece with an exceptional tone and excellent playing qualities. This rare French 1/4 bow has a well-centered felt balance-point; it is strong and very comfortable to play, with a total weight of 73.1 g, it has a total length of 52.2 cm. The measured balance-point is at 17.5 cm. The elegant ebony frog and the head is a remarkably beautiful piece of work. The strong, round stick was made of Pernambuco wood. This rare French Morizot 1/4 violin bow is in perfect condition, featuring a large, powerful and and warm, clear, fluid sound, first choice for young talents. The price includes a certificate of authenticity by Jean-François Raffin, Paris.
