German violin bow with a powerful, radiant and full-bodied sound, handmade in the 1950s. The violin bow probably comes from a workshop in the Markneukirchen area. The elastic, round stick is made of fine, light brown pernambuco wood and is very well balanced. The violin bow is easy to grip and forgiving. A rose-green shimmering mother-of-pearl slide adorns the ebony frog, which is executed in simple beauty. The bow is 74.7 cm long and weighs around 59 g when set up and ready to play. It is easy to play thanks to its balance point, which is felt in the center of the upper half. The bow is therefore ideal for violins that sound sharp or strident and does not tolerate much pressure.
