Old French violin bow by Marc Laberte, made around 1940 with a beautiful, large, warm tone. This French violin bow by Marc Laberte was made in the 1940/1950s in Mirecourt, the center of classical French violin and bow making. The unstamped, medium-strength stick made of dark tropical wood is a work from the workshop of Marc Laberte, who fitted his violin bows with a hand-crafted, nickel-silver mounted ebony frog and a pretty, one-piece adjuster. Carefully crafted to reveal a well-trained and experienced hand, this Marc Laberte violin bow impresses with the excellent rich and warm sound and easy forgiving playing characteristics of its centered balance point, which is inclined towards the tip. This excellent violin bow lies comfortably in the hand and is easy to control. We highly recommend this excellent French violin bow for its large, warm, French noble tone, which this outstanding French violin bow produces with a rich volume. This violin bow does not tolerate much pressure and is very suitable for players with a pulling rather than pushing bow technique. Free shipping, with 30-day return policy and optional certificate.
