An ideal player's violin bow, a contemporary German violin bow in master-quality from the hands of the Baiersdorf master Herbert Wanka. As usual for Herbert Waka's violin bows, this item is extraordinary handy, and strong and powerful at play. The strong round pernambuco wood stick takes good pressure without feeling spongily. The ebony frog is sterling silver mounted and ornated with Parisian eye and nacre slide. The slide is shimmering in colorful violet-green tones which is rather unconventional, most slides are cream white. The violin bow's head is elegantly shaped, Herbert Wanka's original stamp is imprinted on the shaft above the frog. The violin bow weights only approximately 60 g. Its felt balance-point is centered, tending slightly towards the lower alf of the stick. This good contemporary violin bow produces a rich, powerful, warm and resonant sound. Free shipping, with a 30-day money-back guarantee and trade-in option.
