Made in the 1920s, this handsome German violin bow has an agile, strong and taut stick that produces a warm, bright, noble sound. The octagonal stick made of the finest light brown pernambuco has a perfect thickness distribution, a noble growth structure characterizes the wood. With its balance point perceived as lying towards the upper half of the stick, the violin bow lies comfortably and lightly in the hand. The ebony frog with a one-piece leg gives the violin bow an appealing visual appearance, and its good musical qualities invite frequent use. After a careful revision in our workshop, we offer this pretty German violin bow ready to play, which can best develop its warm, noble tone with a dark and dull sounding violin.
