Violin bow by Walter Zapf with good balance and a bright, full-bodied sound. This originally stamped German violin bow is a very good work by master bow-maker Walter Zapf and was crafted in the 1960s in Markneukirchen-Siebenbrunn, in the center of violin and bow making in Saxony. The octagonal stick of medium strength was made of red-brown pernambuco wood and features elasticity and a fluid play; at a very suitable light weight of almost 55 g this piece offers easy playing properties. This Walter Zapf violin bow´s head is characteristically shaped, the nickel mounted ebony frog is decorated by a pearl eye and a white pearl slide, a beautiful, classical setup that is completed by the silver adjuster. The sensed balance-point of the bow is well centered in the middle. The violin bow was completely worked over in our workshop and is offered ready to unfold a beautiful warm, mellow tone that complements sharp and brilliant sounding violins. Free shipping, 30-day money-back guarantee, optional certificate and Corilon's trade-in guarantee.
