Austrian Violin by Eduard Heidegger, Linz

This beautiful violin was made around 1920 in the Eduard Heidegger workshops in Linz, as the original label indicates. The successfully crafted Stradivari model bears the flawless craftsmanship and tonal qualities that Eduard Heidegger instruments have always been famous for. First choice tonewoods were covered by a shining golden-brown varnish, that is very transparent; a handmade piece of excellent standards. A minor table repair at the saddle has no influence on the sound and playing qualities of the violin; however, we can offer it at an attractive price due to this flaw. The violin was thoroughly worked over by our luthier and is offered ready to play. It features a highly recommendable, brilliant sound, that is warm, clear, powerful, mature and well-balanced across the strings.
