Antique violin made around 1930 brand “E. Martin Saxony” from the workshop of Ernst Martin. The violin was made in Markneukirchen around 1930, the model is after Stradivari. The violin does not bear a label; it is undoubtedly a typical work from this company. The varnish is a rich and shiny spirit oil varnish of a golden-orange-brown color with skillfully applied antiquing. Perfectly preserved and crack-free, the E. Martin violin was checked by our luthier and made completely ready to play. The sound is very strong, large and dominant, clear and dark, very mature and extremely strong and powerful in the highest registers.
