Warm, clear and rich in overtones is the sound of this old German violin which is the recommendation of our professional violinist (major Munich orchestra) - an outstanding instrument in the price range which was built in Saxony around 1920. Carefully and completely worked over by our experienced luthiers in our violin shop the attractive optical appearance of the instrument, defined by the shining, transparent orange brown varnish comes into its own. The design of the elegant soundholes reminds of Stradivari, and indeed the violin was built according to his patterns. The top, made of regular grown tonewood, and the deeply flamed two-piece maple back are crafted with a flat to medium arching. This resonant, beautiful old violin from Saxony is our recommendation for players seeking a strong, bright, warm sound, an instrument preserved in perfect condition and ready to play!
