This Markneukirchen violin made by master maker Walter Wunderlich is highly recommendable instrument with very good musical qualities, that was built in 1947 as a certain example of good craftsmanship. The purfling was carefully crafted and the rich, orange-brown oil varnish over a golden yellow ground that has developed a slight craquellation over tone demonstrates the work of a skilled hand. Our experienced luthier completely worked over the instrument and made it ready to play. Tonally optimized, this simple but useful master violin is a really good choice for violinists who will appreciate the outstanding response and the strong, radiant sound of the violin, that unfolds perfectly balanced across the strings with the mature voice that only old stringed instruments have developed.
