This elegant French 3/4 violin "Stradivarius" model was made in Mirecourt around 1930 for Parisian luthier Paul Beuscher, whose original label it bears. It was mostly the important manufacturer and trader Labert-Humbert Frères who sold prefabricated instruments to Parisian luthiers, where they were finished, varnished and adjusted and who would sell at least a part of these works with their own label. This French 3/4 violin from Mirecourt is presenting the features that are responsible for the great international success of French violins from Mirecourt: a specific sense for aesthetic appearance, with a gentle but high arching, fine purfling, that is inlayed very near to the tender edges, a scroll as it is typical French style, and a very good selection of tonewoods, especially the mildly flamed maple of the two-piece back. In addition to the optical appearance the 3/4 violin features very good acoustic qualities: powerful players will love the clear, right and sweet sound, which is radiant in the upper ranges. A joy obviously felt by the instrument´s former owners, too, as nice patination and traces of use on the luminous orange varnish varnish clearly indicate. We are offering this good 3/4-sized violin with these crackfree in substantially perfect condition, completely and professionally worked over, besides the general workover. Like all instruments from Corilon, this includes free worldwide shipping, a 30 day return policy and an upgrade & trade-in option useful when it comes to the exchange to a 4/4 violin.
