Violinist's recommendation! This old German violin from Berlin with a beautiful oil varnish and the dated original label is a wonderfully rich sounding instrument made by Markus Sandherr in Berlin in 1934. This is a handsome and expressive unique violin, well handcrafted with a suitably convincing tone. The orange-brown oil varnish bears only a few traces of playing. The two-piece back is made of deeply flamed maple and the top is made of medium grained spruce. The flat concept of the arching and fine purfling and cornerwork reveals the hand a carefully working master. The sound of this old violin from Berlin, which is preserved crackfree and with its slender neck well playable for small hands, is warm, direct, rich, ringing and of strong volume and power. Like all violins from us this has been completely worked over and refurbished by our violin making workshop and is offered in best playing condition, with free international shipping, a 30 days return option and Corilon's trade-in guarantee.
