Cancellation policy

Right of withdrawal & extended return policy

7. Withdrawal (online orders)

As a consumer, you may cancel your contractual declaration within 14 days without stating reasons in writing (e.g. letter, fax, email) or – if the goods have been left to you before the deadline – by returning the goods (please enclose a copy of the invoice). Exempted are custom-made and commissioned works, such as the certificate of value confirmation. The period begins after receipt of this instruction in writing, but not before receipt of the goods by the recipient (in case of recurring deliveries of similar goods, not before receipt of the first partial delivery) and also does not fulfill our obligations under Article 24 6 § 2 in conjunction with § 1 Abs. 1 and 2 EGBGB as well as our obligations according to § 312g Abs. 1 Satz 1 BGB in conjunction with article 246 § 3 EGBGB. To meet the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal or the goods in an unaltered state in good time. The withdrawal is to be addressed to:

Corilon violins GmbH
Lilienstrasse 2
81669 Munich
Germany
E-Mail: [email protected]

7.2 Consequences of revocation

In the event of an effective revocation, the services received on both sides and any benefits obtained (e.g. interest) shall be returned. If you are unable or partially unable to return the received services and benefits (e.g. benefits of use) to us, or only able to return them in a deteriorated condition, you must compensate us for the corresponding value. This may mean that you must nevertheless fulfill the contractual payment obligations for the period up to the revocation. You are only required to pay compensation for the deterioration of the goods and for any benefits derived if the benefits or the deterioration are due to handling of the goods that goes beyond the examination of the properties and functioning. “Examination of the properties and functioning” refers to the testing and trying out of the respective goods, as is possible and customary in a retail store. Any changes to the instrument by you or by third parties will result in the exclusion of the return.

Items that can be shipped as parcels are to be returned neatly and securely packaged as received. You have to bear the regular costs and risk of the return shipment if the delivered goods correspond to the ordered goods (or if, in the case of a higher price of the item, you have not yet provided the consideration or a contractually agreed partial payment at the time of revocation). Otherwise, the return is free of charge for you. Items that cannot be sent by parcel post will be collected from your premises. Any payments to be reimbursed must be made within 30 days. The period begins for you with the dispatch of your declaration of withdrawal or the item, and for us with their receipt. Transaction fees of the customer's chosen payment service provider Stripe (credit card) will be charged in the event of a cancellation / return and will not be reimbursed.

End of cancellation policy.

8. Extended return policy (online orders and local purchases)

8.1 In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal (see 7.), we offer you an extended return policy for orders placed on our website and local purchases. If you do not like an instrument purchased from us, please notify us within 30 days of receiving your order that you wish to return it. We will refund 100% of the purchase price within 14 business days after we have received the instrument with the original invoice or a copy of the invoice, provided that it is undamaged and unchanged and no later than 45 days after delivery to you. Special editions such as certificates cannot be returned and will usually be refunded on a goodwill basis. The return of goods is at the risk and expense of the customer. Transaction fees of the customer's chosen payment service provider Stripe (credit card) are also incurred in the case of a return and will not be refunded. PayPal transaction fees can be refunded. Any transaction fees incurred for refunds of bank transfers from abroad shall be borne by the customer.
