This fine French cello bow was made by Charles Nicolas Bazin, founder of one of the most famous bow-making ateliers in all of France, when he was approaching the zenith of its professional success. This powerful is very handy and reacts instantly, a fine and lightweight yet powerfully tense, active virtuoso cello bow that has a delicately crafted round stick which reflects the highest quality. Made of expertly selected brazil wood, almost modest appointments with a nickel-mounted ebony frog, mother-of-pearl eye and three-part adjuster play down the outstanding craftsmanship and musical qualities.
