Antique 3/4 violin, Klingenthal 19th century

This recommendable antique 3/4 violin is a rare 19th century instrument of its 3/4 size featuring a warm, mature sound full of character. With its typical „square shoulders“, flat arching and tonewoods varnished in characteristical colors this violin doesn´t need any further evidence of provenance from  Klingenthal, the origin of violin making in the Vogtland region. The instrument was built about the end of the 19th century, truly following the patterns of local tradition. With some minor repairs, the 3/4 violin is in remarkably good condition, completely worked over and refined by our luthier, ready to play and inspiring with its nuanced, but strong, clear and precise sound.
