Fine French 1/2 violin, this premium quality half-sized violin was crafted approx. 1900 in Mirecourt; it is a very beautiful instrument, that was built on an Antonio Stradivari model. The elegant shape and the well-crafted, fluted arching indicate this antique 1/2 violin as a premium quality work made in Mirecourt. Slightly accentuated edges and the distinctive scroll, that was designed in a typical French style, are exceptionally nice, as well as the antiqued, orange-brown varnish that covers the instrument. This French 1/2 violin is offered crackfree and despite some varnish flaws in good condition. It was worked over by our violin makers, who made it ready to play. Its voice is of recommendable warmth and character. Like all instruments from us, this includes free worldwide shipping, 30 days returns and Corilon's trade-in option for convenient size upgrade.
