This beautiful instrument is a good German 3/4 sized violin made around 1950, it was handmade in Markneukirchen in Saxony. This attractive 3/4 violin is preserved in a rare, undamaged condition what is quite unusual, not only for a small sized instrument. The tonewoods are of beauty and well selected. The glossy varnish shows signs of age and playing, it is of a transparent light-brown color applied on a golden-yello ground, showing some traces from playing. This good German 3/4 violin is preserved undamaged, crackfree, and like all instruments from us, it has been meticulously worked over by our luthiers and is offered ready to play. Her clear sound is rich in overtones is of good strength and beautiful tonal character.
