This outstanding Ernst Heinrich Roth 3/4 violin is a good confirmation that even small sized instruments can be suitable for solo performances. Built in 1968, it´s sound is large and with very good volume, with delicate nuances, as well dark and mature as light and clear in the upper ranges, resonant and loud, with strong assertiveness. The 3/4 violin by Ernst Heinrich Roth is a successful work following patterns of Antonio Stradivari, with accentuated edges in typical Cremonese style, a beautifully flamed, two-piece back and elegant, precise purfling. Its varnish is of intensely colored red-orange brown color. This highly recommended Ernst Heinrich Roth 3/4 violin no C8 1139 bears its original label and brandstamp and is sold ready to play, it was completely restored by our experienced luthier and is in undamaged, perfect condition. New Roth violins are sold for around € 3,000.
