The highly elegant French 3/4 violin was handmade in Mirecourt at the beginning of the 20th century. The harmonious design matches the delightful varnish, which is of a shiny golden yellow colour, in a perfect way. Well selected woods, the top is made of medium grained spruce, the two piece back of deeply flamed maple, contribute to the violins bright, warm and strong sound. Its character is matured with a singing resonance in the higher registers and deep volume in the lower ranges. The violin is in perfect condition, with only a small scratch on the top. A very rare and dignified instrument for ambitioned connoisseurs. A certificate of value (estimated 2500 €) by the renowned luthier Anton Sprenger from Mittenwald is included.
