This highly recommendable violin for small-handed players (body stop 18.9 cm, neck stop 12.9 cm) was crafted in the 1950's by an unknown violin maker in Saxony as a piece of good and meticulous craftsmanship. The clear shape of the model follows the patterns of Guarneri. And indeed this is a successful copy of his violins with its transparent bright, golden-brown oil varnish, the beautifully cut soundholes and the well extending corners. Well-chosen premium tonewoods are preserved completely undamaged and crack-free; this good violin does hardly have any varnish flaws. Like all stringed instruments from Corilon violins, the luthiers in our workshop have worked over this powerful violin and set it up - it has been tonally optimized and is now perfectly ready to play and convinces with its extremely powerful brilliant sound.
