Antique 3/4 violin made in France with a Breton label and a bright, clear sound. This attractive 3/4-sized violin was crafted around 1930in Mirecourt and has preserved its beauty throughout its history. There is a rich coat of a warm, orange-honey-coloured varnish on the medium grained spruce of the two piece top and the beautifully flamed two piece maple back. The sound holes and the scroll are designed in a typically French style, though a bit roughly finished. This well-played and very attractive 3/4 instrument is crackfree in very good condition; there are some traces of use on the top. Our atelier for violin making and restoration set up the 3/4 violin thoroughly and is pleased to present it in the best possible condition. With its clear, bright voice rich in overtones this old 3/4 violin is the ideal instrument for strong bowing young players. Like all 3/4 violins and bows from us with Corilon's trade-in option.
