Antique 3/4 violin, made in approximately 1910 by Schuster & Co. in Markneukirchen. This violin is a 3/4-sized instrument of superior quality. Schuster & Co. engaged the best violin makers from the Vogtland region in his factory and achieved good reputation among international experts and musicians with the excellence of his instruments. We are offering a 3/4 violin built after Stradivari patterns, originally labeled, an elegant model with delicate flat arching, made of carefully selected materials. The medium grained spruce of the top and the nicely flamed maple of the two-piece back are first choice tonewoods. The red-brown varnish was applied over a golden-yellow ground; it developed beautiful patina and bears several traces of intensive use by former owners. The crackfree 3/4 violin has been carefully set up by our experienced luthiers and is in excellent condition, ready to play, with a mature voice full of character, dark, warm, with some soft aspects in the lower registers.
