Antique French 3/4 violin, by J.T.L. , approx.1880

This highly attractive antique French 3/4 violin dating to around 1880 has a warm, powerful, clear and resonant sound. The 3/4 violin, which bears a "Stradivarius" model label was made by the renowned Jerôme Thibouville-Lamy and shows the typical features of their premium models: the two piece top is made of medium to wide grained spruce, the two-piece back of beautifully flamed maple. Like all Corilon instruments and bows, this recommendable antique 3/4 violin (which is preserved in outstanding crackfree condition) has been worked over and approved by the luthiers in our atelier and is for sale in immediate playing condition.
