This French 3/4 sized violin was made in approx. 1900 in the French violin making town of Mirecourt on a typical French styled Stradivari model. Flawless craftsmanship is clearly visible at the purfling, that was accurately inlaid and finely extends into the corners. The blackened scroll is a beautiful Mirecourt trade work and beautifully carved. Quality tonewoods are visible under the transparent, luminous orange-brown varnish; the beautifully flamed maple of the back is especially worth to be mentioned. We offer this old 3/4 violin in very good condition, ready to play. Luthier-checked and in brought by our luthiers to immediate playing condition its warm and dark sound unfolds full of character and power, with warmth in the lower ranges. Like all instruments and bows from us, this includes our trade-in guarantee and an optional certificate of appraisal.
