This Morizot frères violin bow is a lightweight active player, it was made in Mirecourt in the atelier of Louis Morizot and his sons in the mid 20th century, in the most productive and successful period of their history. The Morizot violin bow is lightweight and a typical French Morizot violin bow with all the sought-after features of the earlier Louis Morizot violin bows, especially its highly tensed, active and bounding stick and an excellent powerful, crisp sound, that is bright and radiant. The strong and reactive, tense octagonal bow stick has a weight of 58 g and is perfectly balanced and thus features handy lightness and stiffness and is set up with a nickel-mounted ebony frog with a Parisian eye. This unique Morizot freres violin bow features a total length of 74.1 cm including the length of the adjuster and has a nicely and well-centered sensed balance-point; slightly inclined towards the upper half of the stick. We can recommend this highly active Morizot violin bow for especially for virtuoso play. Like all our violin bows, free shipping with 30-day return policy and optional certificate.
