This Heinrich Knopf violin bow is a masterpiece from the best period of work of the famous Saxon bow maker Carl Heinrich Knopf (1839–1875). Its strong round stick made of fine, chestnut-brown pernambuco offers excellent playing properties thanks to its good flexibility, with a bright sound of a pleasantly sweet character. The silver-mounted ebony frog with a mother-of-pearl eye and slide as well as the three-part button reflect the tradition of the Bausch school.
