The stick is made of fine quality pernambuco wood and is stamped M. Schäffner above the frog. The head is especially elegant and neatly finished, the ebony frog with Parisian eye and a three part adjuster. The bow is undamaged and in perfect condition, tt's length is 74,6 cm. The bow has it's balance point in the middle of the stick, slightly inclined towards the head, measured at 27.7 cm including the length of the adjuster. An excellent active bow producing a clear, sweet, noble tone - this bow complements mellow sounding violins and adds clarity and elegance to the tone.
