Gold mounted violin bow by Siegfried Finkel, a fine three-star masterpiece from Switzerland made around 1960. This violin bow, crafted with the utmost care and perfection of craftsmanship, is a best example of this bow making tradition practiced over four generations. The head and tip of the strong octagonal stick made of light brown pernambuco are of quality and robust elegance, as are the gold mounted ebony frog with Parisian eye and three-piece legs. With an overall length with legs of 74.1 cm, this fine violin boge weighs 62.9 g and has its measured center of gravity at 25.9 cm, which feels perfectly balanced.
