This beautiful silver mounted violin bow was handmade by Alfred Knoll, the founder of Knoll bows, a highly skilled German master bow maker in the 1970s. The absolutely perfect state of preservation with the original leather and lapping of this more than 40 years old violin bow is to be mentioned. The fine quality reddish brown pernambuco wood of the round, stiff yet elastic stick is of bnest quality. The ebony is sterling silver mounted and decorated with a Pearl eye and a marvelous white shimmering pearl slide. This good violin bow is beautiful to play, its measured balance-point is at 25,7 cm from the frog end, its felt balance-point is centered, slightly tending towards the head. This recommended violin bow produces large, bright, open, clear tones.
