German violin bow with good playing characteristics - lightweight in the hand

Violin bow from Markneukirchen. This violin bow was made by hand around 1940. The octagonal stick has a perfect combination of elasticity and tension, so the violin bow plays smoothly and forgivingly. The head is particularly beautifully crafted. The ebony frog is nickel silver mounted, there are minor traces of use on the stick and frog. Like all our instruments and bows, the violin bow is delivered ready to play. The center of gravity is in the middle, slightly in the upper third of the stick. A very and highly recommended, good German violin bow that fits most violins and produces a bright, sweet sound.
