This beautiful antique violin was made more than 100 years ago in Markneukirchen, probably in the renowned workshops of August Clemens Glier, the violin as a very well-designed instrument in the Markneukirchen tradition. The interesting scroll reflects solid artisanry. Small, gentle soundholes and subtle antiqueings on the top and slight traces from playing express the special character of this antique Markneukirchen violin, which is offered with many signs from playing but without any cracks or repairs in perfect condition. Our Cremona luthiers made it ready to play. The sound is mature, resonant and rich in overtones with a warm, mature note.
