Antique German violin, an attractive Markneukirchen instrument with minor flaws and many traces of use that features an exceptionally good, strong, warm and mature sound in the price range. The violin was built after the classical model of Antonio Stradivari; a pattern that influenced violin making in Saxony for many generations. Made in the early 20th century probably by Schuster & Co. as a trade instrument, the violin is a beautifully shaped Stradivarius instrument with a medium arch and narrow ribs. A two piece maple back with tastefully crafted edges and corners demonstrate the flawless skills of the violin maker. He applied a light-brown colored varnish that perfectly completes the antique appearance of this antique violin. The surface shows many signs from playing but this good violin is preserved crackfree in very good condition. Our luthiers spent time and effort to work it over and made it ready to play, it recommends itself with its clear radiant sound that has both a mature and bright character and is well-balanced across the strings.
