This old stringed instrument is a typical instrument from the traditional violin making town Markneukirchen in Saxony, that was crafted after the well-proven model of Antonio Stradivari in the mid 20th century. It is covered by an intensely colored varnish with some signs of use and antique touches that underlines the grain of the spruce top and the mild flames of the two-piece maple back. The purfling, the medium high arching and soft fluting at the top and the back are examples of good and traditional craftsmanship. This good sounding violin was carefully worked over in our workshop and is offered in crackfree, immediate playing condition, ready to unfold its warm and bright sound that is convincingly powerful.
