Rare 3/4 violin by Francois Pillement. This antique French 3/4 violin by Jacquet-Pillement, which was made in Mirecourt at the beginning of the 19th century, is in good, slightly restored condition with no cracks in the tuning. This antique 3/4 violin has a very noble appearance, not least due to the patinated, orange-brown varnish and the sweeping model with high arching. The top is made of regular spruce in one piece, the one-piece maple back is mildly flamed. The sound of this outstanding Francois Pillement 3/4 violin is large, warm and rich, with a radiant treble.
