This violin by Paul Beuscher, which was made after a Guarneri model and is dated 1954, is a reference to the famous classical Italian violin makers in Cremona. The powerful, strong, mature, radiant sound is impressive proof of its good quality, as is the craftsmanship, the medium-high arching of the top, which is finished with a gentle hollow groove. The mild, soft flaming of the two-piece maple back is unmistakably individual and is embellished by the luminous, dark orange-brown and very transparent spirit oil varnish.
