This recommendable German violin was crafted by renowned Ludwig Gläsel jr. in Markneukirchen/Saxony in the early 20th century. The violin bears his original Ludwig Gläsel Jr. label, which is dated 1924. This fine Ludwig Gläsel violin was made of very interesting and well-chosen tonewoods. Highly transparent golden-orange-brown oil varnish underlines the impressive, narrow flames of the two-piece maple back, ribs and scoll. The top is made of medium grained spruce with a very fine texture; only minor traces of use speak of an almost than 100 years of the instrument´s history. The expressive self-confident shape of the body and scroll and the skillfully crafted arching are the clear work of an experienced master: experience that created a fine quality, individual violin with an unique sound that is radiant and sweet. This fine Ludwig Gläsel jr. violin is an impressive instrument that is offered in perfect condition, ready to play.
